The Parent Teacher Council of Stamford, Conn. (PT Council) is a strong city-wide organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. Our primary objective is to unite our 21 individual schools PTOs’ and to strengthen the family unit through parent involvement. The PT Council is made up of an Executive Board and a representative from 21 Stamford Public Schools grades K-12. We provide workshops, leadership development, information and programs, coordinate programs and projects of member units and work to promote parent-teacher partnerships in the school district and wider community.
